Transportation to Four Seasons Resort, Carmelo

Arrival from Buenos Aires by Boat

To Colonia (2 hours) - Buquebus:

Argentina’s largest tour provider Buquebus offers daily ferry service from Puerto Madero (20 minute drive from Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires) to the Port of Colonia. Four Seasons guests go First-Class on the 120 m, 1200 passenger ship and the voyage lasts 1 hour.

The tickets have a cost of USD 130 per adult roundtrip or USD 70 per child 11 and under. The Resort can arrange the tickets for you and charge them to your room.

 To Reserve your boat tickets in advance, we will need the following information:

- Full Name (it appears in passport)
- Passport Number
- Nationality

- Date of birth

Ground Transfer:

Once in Colonia, you will disembark and our driver will be waiting for you outside of customs. It’s a 50 minute scenic drive to the Resort from Colonia. The ground transportation has a cost of USD 150 +10 % tax for a car (up to 3 persons) each way or USD 250 +10 % tax for a private van (up to 6 persons) each way. Also the Resort offers a regular shared ride service at USD 60 +10 % tax per person, each way.

Private Flights

Departure from San Fernando Airport direct to Carmelo International Airport. This is a 30 minute trip.

Departure from the International Airport Ezeiza (EZE) direct to Carmelo International Airport. This is a 40 minute trip.

Departure from Carrasco Airport in Montevideo direct to Carmelo International Airport. It is a 1 hour trip.

Departure from Laguna del Sauce Airport in Punta del Este direct to Carmelo International Airport. It is a 1.5 hour trip.

Private air transfers start from USD 1700 one way. Please contact Resort Reservations for a quotation.

Arriving from Montevideo by Car

Four Seasons Resort Carmelo is a 3 hour drive from Montevideo where most international flights land. The drive is very scenic through rolling meadows and wine country. All major airlines have service into Montevideo, and the Resort can organize car service, or a rental car. The cost is USD 450 + 10 % tax for a car (up to 3 persons) each way or USD 640 + 10 % tax for a van (up to 6 persons) each way.
